Affiliate Terms
Version 1.0 · Applies when you accept these terms.
By checking the agreement box when joining the Play Styles affiliate program, you agree to these terms with the National Institute for Play (NIFPlay).
1. Joining and sharing
You must be at least 16 and legally able to agree to these terms. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, obtain a parent or guardian’s permission. Provide accurate account and payment details. You participate independently, not as a NIFPlay employee or authorized representative.
2. Discounts and commission
Your personal referral link gives buyers 10% off the Premium Play Styles Assessment. You earn $8 USD for each eligible completed purchase attributed to your link. No commission is earned for a visit, free assessment, or unpaid order. Discounts may not combine with other offers.
Attribution depends on our checkout records; a link click alone does not guarantee credit. Fraudulent, canceled, refunded, or charged-back purchases do not qualify, and related commissions may be reversed.
Commissions are tracked in your referral account and paid manually after verification. Contact inquiry@nifplay.org to arrange payout and confirm timing and payment method. You are responsible for applicable taxes; we may request information needed to process payments or meet tax obligations. Earnings are not guaranteed.
3. Be clear about your relationship
Clearly disclose that you earn a commission whenever you promote your link. Put the disclosure with the recommendation, where people will notice it before clicking—not only in a profile, footer, or separate terms page. Follow applicable advertising laws, including U.S. FTC requirements where relevant, and the rules of the platform you use.
For example: “I earn a commission if you purchase through this link. You get 10% off the Premium Play Styles Assessment.”
4. Promote honestly and respectfully
Share truthful information and only describe personal experiences you have actually had. Play Styles is for reflection and learning—not a medical, psychological, or diagnostic assessment. Do not promise health outcomes, guaranteed results, or earnings.
Do not send spam, buy or misuse personal information, create fake purchases, manipulate tracking, impersonate NIFPlay, or advertise unauthorized discounts. Use our name and any materials we provide only to accurately promote Play Styles; do not imply endorsements or partnerships beyond this affiliate relationship. Follow applicable email, privacy, and advertising laws.
5. Privacy
We use your name, email, referral activity, agreement record, and any required payout details to operate the program. We do not sell your personal information. Joining does not give you access to buyers’ private assessment answers or personal results. Handle any personal information you collect lawfully and never request someone’s password or assessment responses on our behalf.

6. Ending participation and changes
You may leave at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end participation for violations, fraud, or misuse, or end the program. Valid commissions earned before participation ends remain payable, subject to verification and reversals described above.
We may update these terms and will notify active affiliates of material changes before they apply. Changes will not reduce valid commissions already earned. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop promoting your link and contact us to leave.
